Operations Procurement Agents for the Commercial Airplanes Systems commodity are the Boeing supply chain first line, managing a sophisticated web of suppliers that provide some of the most critical components of Boeing’s state-of-the-art commercial jetliners. Operations Procurement Agents for Systems oversee the delivery and quality performance of suppliers of vital airplane systems like avionics, flight systems, fire suppression, electrical systems and environmental controls. Through their leadership, their communication of expectations, and their use of a variety of supply chain metrics, these professionals evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance for all commercial airplane programs.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Mid-Level or Senior Level Procurement Agents.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as the liaison and relationship owner between suppliers, customers and BoeingCommunicate performance expectations and metrics to the supplierDevelop executive-level summaries and presentations and share input with executive leadershipTravel to suppliers and conduct assessments to ensure the supplier’s ongoing capability to support BoeingProvide oversight and management of the supply and demand of parts, schedules, and supplier quality and deliveryDevelop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal and external partners, and peers; including gaining rapport and engaging positively with internal and external collaborators, even in difficult circumstancesAnalyze and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (things like on-time delivery) and using those indicators to predict risks; assist suppliers to develop new predictive indicators as neededConduct risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) managementMitigate discovered risks and initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activitiesLead Root Cause/Corrective Action initiatives to improve systemic issuesFacilitate cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, the resolution of quality issues, and the improvement of products and processesPerform some level of system transactions and data entry to maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or SAP fidelity, support metric generation, and maintain stakeholder communication
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
1+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes1+ years of experience Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word1+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes1+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settingsMust be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% may be required)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
A bachelor’s degree or higher is desired but not requiredTypically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not requiredTypically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required3+ years of Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Supplier Provided Equipment (SPE)3+ years of experience with the SAP (System Applications and Product) and/or an equivalent such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)3+ years of high-level complex program management3+ years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry

Summary pay range (Level 2): $ 68,400 - $ 79,500
Summary pay range (Level 3): $ 84,600 - $ 98,250
Summary pay range (Level 4): $108,000 - $125,400
