The Boeing Company is hiring a meticulous and compassionate Experienced Payroll Analyst -Leaves of Absence and Time Off to join our team located in Renton, Washington or Hazelwood, Missouri specializing in the administration of Leaves of Absence (LOA) and Paid Time Off (PTO) programs. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while providing a seamless, accurate experience for employees during their time away from work. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of payroll accuracy, compliance, and employee service.

Key Responsibilities

Leave Administration: Manage the process for all leave types, including Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA), Short Term/Long Term Dsability (STD/LTD), personal leaves, and state-specific paid leave programsLeave-Payroll Integration: Ensure accurate payroll processing for employees on leave, including coordinating with third-party administrators, and calculating sick leave, vacation, and PTO payoutsCompliance: Ensure all leave programs and payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations and collective bargaining agreementsEmployee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave policies, documentation, and pay impacts

Core Competencies

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and calculationsEmpathy and Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and personal information with confidentiality and compassionCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex leave policies to employees

Position Responsibilities:

Provide business partner support as an Overhead Allocations business unit representativeWrite journal entries, update tables, create/change overhead allocations, and perform analysisRespond to audit requests as neededSupport month-end and year-end closingReview Accounting Change Requests and determine impacts to cost structure.Process Incurred Cost SubmittalSupport special projects/group metrics/system implementations and upgrades as required

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of direct, in-house experience working payroll or related functions such as Human Resources or Finance/AccountingProficiency with HRIS, payroll software and advanced Excel skillsStrong ability to analyze complex data, such as benefits and payroll calculations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)In-depth understanding of FMLA, Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and state-specific paid family leave lawsExperience managing multi-state leaves of absence and time-off administrationExperience in a high-volume, shared services environment

Summary pay range for WA: $ 90,950 - $123,050

Summary pay range for MO: $ 85,000 - $115,000
