Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support the EDC Paint QA team in Everett, WA.

A Manager in this role will support a team Paint Quality Inspectors who will be inspecting the aircraft within the EDC Paint Hangers, Everett Modification Center (EMC), Flight line, Factory and at times Off Site Paint support performing Quality Management Systems (QMS) oversight activities site wide. You will be reporting to a Senior Quality Manager, supporting offsite activities, and supporting Onsite Manufacturing Managers.

This leader will possess the ability to work well with diverse groups and collaborate across organizational boundaries. They can implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving, data, and analysis to drive decisions. Transformational leadership skills are necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including One Boeing Production System, Defect Reduction, and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads, guides, develops, and motivates employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes align with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.Acquires and handles resources; leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1 + years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)Must be willing to work a second shift schedule (typically 2:00pm-10:30pm) but not limited to.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Prior paint experienceGeneral / Airline / aircraft experienceManufacturing experience3 + years of experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standardExperience leading teams including cross-functional teamsExperience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solvingExperience working with airline customers at delivery

Summary pay range: $122,400-$149,600/Annually
