Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an ExperiencedNon-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist – 2nd Shift to join the 737-program based out of Renton and/or Seattle, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:
Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipmentDevelops procedures and processesPerforms tests or inspections and collects dataDocuments, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendationsProvides feedback on adverse trendsResponsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company productsConducts certification preparation training
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and weekends if necessaryAbility to travel 10-20% of the timeCapable of working in confined spaces and fit through a 10X18 oval opening
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Current or prior certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Compliant Level 2 or 3 Ultrasonic Inspection and Eddy Current Inspection, and/or equivalent of 800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom trainingAssociate’s degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience
Union:
This is a union-represented position. In locations where SPEEA representation applies, this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
