Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Network Automation, Tools, and Compliance Manager to join the Network Infrastructure Services & Data Centers (NIS & DC) team in either Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Miami, FL; Huntsville, AL; Seal Beach, CA; Chicago, IL; or Arlington, VA.
The selected candidate will lead a team in developing, implementing, and optimizing network analytics, automation, and tooling solutions. This role will be key in improving network reliability, efficiency, and security through strategic automation and proactive issue resolution. It is essential for the manager to foster a culture of Innovation, Operational Excellence and a commitment to achieving 5 nines reliability through excellence in Tools, Automation and Compliance. You will collaborate closely with peers, Senior Managers in overseeing support for Operation, Design, Architecture, Security, Program Management, and other critical functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of network technologies and protocols, and a proven history of successful automation initiatives.

This leader will collaborate closely with peers & partners to develop in-house or acquire commercial tools that enable proactive and predictive network management capabilities to quickly detect and resolve network & security related issues. Additionally, this leader will have oversight responsibility for a comprehensive Compliance program encompassing network & security standards and the resolution of any non-compliance.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead a global team consisting of senior network designers, developers, and analysts to develop, evaluate and procure tools
Deploy automation and AI to enable proactive detections, analysis, or immediate response to reactive issues or outages
Lead and mentor a team of Developers, designers, and Network Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Collaborate with other teams and partners to enhance our comprehensive network automation and operations
Manage budget and resources effectively
Work with peers in Operations, Security, Design, Architecture and Network services to understand their needs and requirements for automation, and tools
Work closely with peers, and Senior Management to develop and implement the vision and strategy for the Network & Automation Tools & Compliance
Ensure that we stay compliant with respect to all the software and hardware on 10,000+ devices and systems across the globe
Generate and report-out on network Tools & Automation activities, including tools and automation efficiencies, monitoring, compliance metrics and other KPI’s or metrics as required
Participate in network audits and assessments remediating any findings through documented, process driven responses
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in managing and/or leading Network, Tools and Automation
3+ years of experience in managing and/or leading network compliance
3+ years of experience with asset management
3+ years of experience managing and/or leading software upgrades across a network
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovation

Summary pay range: $123,250 – $178,250
