Insitu has an immediate need for a Contracts Specialist, we are open to a mid or senior level candidate. Depending on experience level this could be a hybrid or for the right candidate potentially a fully remote role. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Researches and analyzes customer requirements.Oversees internal proposal development activities.Develops negotiation strategy and conducts contract negotiations.Provides contractual guidance and domain expertise to stakeholder.Conducts reviews with internal stakeholders and consolidates responses and resolves content deficiencies.Drafts final documents to include statement of work, contract terms and conditions, technical elements, schedule and pricing in accordance with established company requirements and policies.Resolves contractual, technical or price disputes. Administers contract through program execution and resolves contract disputes.Approves and processes award and loss notices, prepares contract modifications and supports compliance reviews.Supports business development in capturing new business opportunities.Administer US Government, and/or Direct Commercial Sale, and/or intercompany agreementsMaintain organized living contract filesNon-technical understanding of basic aviation concepts.

Required Experience & Education:

Mid Level Requirements are: Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience with government contractor and commercial contracts; or 1-3 years experience with Master's degree.3+ years drafting moderate to complex, non-routine agreements.

Senior Level Requirements are: Bachelors degree and 6+ years of experience with government contractor and commercial contracts; or 4+ years experience with Master's degree.6+ years drafting moderate to complex, non-routine agreements.

Typical Experience:

Ability to comprehend and comply with corporate policy and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvements to establish policies.Ability to lead negotiations of all contractual terms and conditions of transactions related to both products and services.Demonstrated ability to influence the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.Possesses excellent analytical ability and has strong communication skills.Computer proficiency, knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.Ability to interface professionally with business management teams, project & program managers, finance managers, legal department, and customer representatives.Demonstrated experience working with FAR Federal Acquisition Regulations/ DFARS Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement Uniform Commercial Code, and/or INCOTERMS 2020.Ability to work independently and self-initiate assignments in support of the businessAbility to develop and maintain professional and productive customer relationships and address internal customer expectations.Knowledge of the formation and negotiation of non-sales agreements such as Proprietary Information Agreements, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, MOU/MOA and consortium agreements.

Preferred experience:

Active Secret Clearance or the ability to hold a Secret Clearance.Demonstrated knowledge of international contracting, DoD/DHS contracting, and Commercial contracting.Demonstrated knowledge of Intellectual Property (DFARS), Government Property (FAR)Coursework specific to US Government contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)DAWIA, FAC-C, or equivalent certificationExperience in international business compliance in foreign jurisdictions to include but not limited to secondment, Value Added Tax, Performance warranty/bonds. Experience with Salesforce and PowerBi.Experience negotiating complex strategic Industrial Participation Agreements (Offsets)

This is preferably a hybrid role located in Bingen, WA. For the right candidate the manager may consider 100% remote.

Typical Hiring Range: 71,000.00 - 97,900.00
