The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Safety Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA.

The Everett Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Team is looking for a Safety Professional to support various teams at the Everett Site. This position is encouraged to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify mitigations to existing and future EHS risks in the production system. As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives, projects and compliance and provide mentorship and cultural influence through the safety team, leadership team and airplane program.

Position Responsibilities:

Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes

Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance

Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints

Develops, implements and monitors occupational heath and safety programs and processes

Develops and provides training and instructions

Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

Plans and conducts health and safety audits

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

3+ years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)

3+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits

3+ years of experience collaborating across functions and organizations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $95,200 - $128,800
