Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-LevelBusiness Operations Specialist (Level 3) to join the Digital Transformation Program Management Integrated Product team based out of Renton, Washington.

In this role, you will be expected to independently develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain an integrated plan and schedule to meet project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. You will also perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), and risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvements, and special initiatives. You will also create schedules, reports, and metrics; account for change activity; communicate regularly, and update plans throughout the program lifecycle or project with leadership and stakeholders. The selected candidate will direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. The candidate will act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Lastly you will assist customers/stakeholders to develop performance recovery plans and ensure all project control systems are in place to support stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, Washington.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience managing technical projects

5+ years of experience working with technical projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies

3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira

Experience using Microsoft Project

Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Agile SAFe Certification

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
