Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Analyst (Level 3) to join our dynamic team based out of Tukwila, WA supporting the E-7 supply chain team.
The role will be focusing as a staff analyst for the Senior Manager and 2 First-Line Managers.
Position Responsibilities:
High level written communication, PowerPoint and other visual communication skillsAbility to take feedback and iterate designs based on guidance from peers and leadership.Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions and special clauses and agreements.Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators.Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities.Leads cross-functional process management activities.Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action.Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs.Establishes new processes and tools related to the design, planning and deployment of enterprise-wide projects/programs.Responsible for leading and coordinating staff actions with Senior LeadershipEnsures objectives are met by scheduling, de-conflicting, and prioritizing key tasks and proactively communicating leadership direction, guidance, and expectations for internal and external audiencesWorks with Senior Management of Supply Chain to define and execute team operating rhythm, and prepare for key meetings Coordinates the design, logistics, and facilitation of BDS Supply Chain meetings/events; develops and consolidates executive-level briefingsMonitors and tracks project execution of related plans and communicates statusForges relationships with counterparts across BDS and other Boeing Business Units to remove obstacles and solve problemsSound judgment and decision-making abilityTravel, on an as-needed basis, in support of, or with leadership or teamCompleting special projects and ad hoc tasks, as assignedExcellent use and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project3+ years of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations 3+ years of experience supporting both internal and external customers across multiple disciplines
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higherExperience with Supply Chain Systems and Tools Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
This position is for 1st shift.
