Position Responsibilities:
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategiesNegotiates pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreementsConducts risk, issues and opportunities managementManages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceInitiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontractsMore than 3 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government CustomersMore than 3 years of experience resolving errors between supply chain systems such as GOLD, Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS), Network Procurement (NWP), Enterprise Direct Procurement (EDP)More than 3 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing contractual requirements
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
Shift:
This position is for 1st shift.
