Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Development Operations Specialist to join the team in either Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA; or Tukwila, WA.
The Development Operations (DevOps) Specialist will have a passion for building large scale software systems across clouds including Amazon Web Services (AWS). We are looking for a teammate who is highly motivated and likes to solve challenging and complex problems across a variety of domains.
Position Responsibilities:
Establish and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Define and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworks and practices using tools in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud agonistic tools
Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, backup and restore mechanisms, and business continuity plans to ensure high availability and data resiliency within the cloud environment
Establish and maintain security controls, best practices, and compliance standards within the cloud environment, ensuring data protection and privacy
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance using AWS monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency through automation and process optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, security, and business stakeholders, to align cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices with organizational goals and requirements
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Formation and Watch technologies
3+ years of experience with setting up and maintaining a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
3+ years of experience in AWS Services (e.g. VPC, IAM, EC2, Auto-scaling, ELB, ECR, S3, DynamoDB, Postgres (RDS), Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, AWS Config, CloudTrail, AWS Developer Tools, etc.)
3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, and Ansible
3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Experience with Tools Worked Test Management tool: HP ALM, Share point, JIRA, Bugzilla, GIT lab, SOAP UI, Selenium RC, Selenium Web Driver, HP ALM, VersionOne
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree
Experience with data lake house
Experience with participating in building the strategy/roadmap for cloud solutions
Experience with GitLab, GIT, IIS, or Windows Server
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $116,450 – $157,550
