Find your future with us.The Boeing Brand Experiences (BBE) - Merchandising and Experience Team plays a vital role in supporting our internal and external venues by developing, recommending, and delivering merchandise solutions that reflect Boeing’s brand and meet customer needs.
We are seeking a motivated Boeing Employee Merchandise and Boeing Store Buyer to join our team with a proven track record in the branded merchandise industry. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple milestones, adaptable to changing requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate to develop and execute the merchandise strategy for assigned retail and Boeing Employee Merchandise Programs categories, ensuring alignment with company goals, brand strategy, and market trends across multiple sales channels.
Curate and manage apparel assortments using customer insights, sales performance, and market trends. Lead initiatives to develop and customize exclusive products that align with brand standards.
Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandise strategy for Employee Merchandise Programs, establishing clear processes and fostering strong supplier partnerships to support the growth and success of these programs.
Establish and maintain supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, high-quality products, and reliable delivery.
Continuously monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity to inform purchasing and assortment decisions.
Track sales across channels, evaluate product performance, and adjust assortments, pricing, and product lifecycle to meet sales targets and maximize profitability.
Collaborate closely with BBE teams, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Boeing Communications & Brand stakeholders to deliver consistent employee and customer experience.
Research and monitor the existing vendor base to identify new product and sourcing opportunities.
Negotiate terms and build vendor partnerships to secure preferential pricing, exclusive offerings, and support for markdowns.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with BBE processes, including trademark usage, sample handling, defective claims, shipping, and routing guidelines.
Communicate product and sales trends to the merchandise team and stakeholders.
Limited Travel
Conduct store visits as necessary to evaluate product performance and ensure effective site merchandising.
Attend trade shows and industry events as needed to stay current on product trends and strengthen supplier relationships.
As needed to meet business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of relevant experience in buying, brand, retail, or merchandising roles.
3+ years working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
3+ years communicating effectively (verbal and written) with leaders and colleagues. Ability to brief stakeholders of project status and performance.
3+ years working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Able and willing to travel 20% of the time domestically (once a quarter)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Brand Management, Business, or related field.
3+ years’ of experience with Apparel categories
Experience with data analysis to drive assortment and pricing decisions.
Experience with CounterPoint POS or similar retail systems.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Summary Pay Range: $71,400 - $110,400
