Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Mechanical Hydraulics Design & Analysis Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our team of highly skilled and passionate engineers in Renton, Washington.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality to positively impact the design of Mechanical Hydraulic Systems. The candidate will join a team that supports the development and documentation of Mechanical Hydraulic Systems design and provides production and customer support to Mechanical Hydraulic Systems in the Factory, Flight Line, and Delivery Center for 737 and P-8. Systems and components include hydraulic pumps, reservoirs, accumulators, motor operated valves, landing gear, wheels, tires & brakes.

The qualified candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to effectively collaborate with others in a team environment and use leadership, creativity, engineering judgement, and problem-solving skills to address a diverse range of engineering problems and fully integrate design solutions. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

Supports the development and documentation of Mechanical Hydraulic systems to establish system design

Utilize CATIA to model Mechanical Hydraulic systems and develops and documents system requirements

Identifies problems, performs root cause corrective analysis, and implements corrective actions utilizing the Boeing Program Solving Method (BPSM)

Performs and documents analysis to validate and verify that systems and components meet operational functional requirements and specifications

Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

Identifies design improvements and researches specific technology advancements for potential application to meet company business needs

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Renton, WA location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, electrical engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Experience working in an engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in design, analysis, verification, validation, and requirements development of Mechanical Hydraulic systems

Experience in Hydraulics, Fluid systems, Pressurized reservoirs/tanks, motor operated valves, and filters

Aircraft Landing gear design experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Associate (Level 2): $81,600 - $110,400

Experienced (Level 3): $102,000 - $138,000
