Position Responsibilities:
Leads a team of hourly Materials Management Specialists, marshal resources across the Supply Chain to include salaried Supply Chain Management AnalystsPartners with Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Supply Chain Fulfillment, MSC&O Transportation Warehousing & Logistics, and GXO Logistics in a fast pace high energy environment while leading an Injury & Incident Free team culture that also maintains compliance to FAR/DFAR contracted business systems audited by the DCAA/DCMA with additional SOx controlsManages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and transportationDevelops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes; leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of functional approaches, products and processesManages, develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 1 year of experience with process improvement and lean manufacturingMore than 1 year of experience leading teams and team development
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or a related fieldExperience in Materials Management or Supply Chain ManagementExperience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or a union-represented workforceExperience using Incident Injury Free concepts or Behavior Base Safety conceptsExperience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
