Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join our 777 CI&R team in Everett, WA. We have multiple shifts. 1st shift: Monday through Friday and working hours are 5 am till 1:30 pm; 2nd shift position: Monday through Friday and working hours are 1:30 pm till 10 pm. Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.)

The successful candidate is self-motivated driven person who can manage and integrate employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. Specifically in the delivery customer service role. You should be able to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of team members and lead process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

The candidate selected for the 1st and/or 2nd shift position will be assigned responsibilities that include operations factory support, shipping/receiving, material handling, expedite, warehousing and serving as the Supply Chain contact for off shift customer support. This role principally leads a team of hourly, represented team members in the Supply Chain function.

Our team is currently hiring a Level K Materials Management and Transportation Manager for 1st and/or 2nd shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

5+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Supplier Management, and/or Procurement practices and processes5 + years of experience with materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environmentMust be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.)5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams5+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)Motivated self-started who can work independently and has demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders such as sales, success, product management, and senior leaders

Summary pay range (Level K) $121,500 - $141,075
