Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our ESRC Boeing Global Services team in Everett, WA.

The selected candidate will be working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the SC organization. This position is supplier facing and will be responsible for managing the relationship with external suppliers and project managing all aspects of their performance.

The successful candidate is someone who can energize and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can leverage their knowledge of the company and multiple functional disciplines to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations.

Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team. This position will include leading our warehouse operations teams in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with other Fulfillment leaders will also involve process improvement and leading of projects.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

1+ years of experience in production systems and integration of the supply chain1+ years of experience leading teams? (This includes managing team assignments, tracking status and developing a team’s talent.)3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams3+ years of experience working with Supply Chain and Manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Bachelor's degree (or higher)1+ Experience in Inventory Management / Inventory Management Methodologies1+ Experience with Problem Solving Methodologies3+ years of experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or the Production System3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills3+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management3+ years of experience with business knowledge, leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment

Summary pay range (Manger: Level K): $114,000 - $146,050
