Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Integration (level 3) to join the 777 Wings Factory Support Collaboration Center (FSCC) team in Everett, WA.
The 777 Wings FSCC is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 3) to collaborate cross-functionally to identify, investigate, and develop countermeasures to drive improvement projects in production area.
Position Responsibilities:
Participate in and become an expert in the BPSM.
Assure that solutions meet the production system requirements & objectives for designated program/product.
Bring the manufacturing perspective when shop floor employees are not available to participate in problem solving.
Educate team members on manufacturing processes, best practices, and basic shop rhythms.
Share experiences that are relevant to the teams understanding of how solutions impact production.
Help bridge the FSCC to the mechanic by building relationships with shop personnel.
Influence when necessary to assure solutions are adopted by manufacturing, this includes communicating and partnering with manufacturing leaders.
Lead by example to foster a culture of cooperation between manufacturing and support organizations.
Champion safety and compliance requirements and reduce the use of hazardous waste
Utilize product definition databases to assess producibility of the airplane.
Advocate and utilize the mechanics surgeon’s chart.
Assist the team with trials and testing of countermeasures. Utilize the mock-up shops as appropriate and when available.
Collaborate with other FSCC SME’s to share ideas and insure that solutions do not negatively impact downstream shops.
Support the iterative problem solving process by working closely with shop mechanics to socialize the team’s goals and objectives.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ year of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
Basic understanding of the One BPS standards.
Basic understanding of the BPSM Process and A3’s.
Experience using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong data analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
