Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) 737 Max Manufacturing Excellence is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst - Assembly Advisement (Workplace Coach), Level 4, for our Skill Enhancement Centers, based out of Seattle, or Tukwila, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
Uses manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more of these areas; mechanical, fluids/pneumatic’ s, electrical integration, quality inspection, machine operations for coaching, performance improvement and problem solving in support of the Boeing Production SystemAnalyze and interpret performance and quality data to identify and mitigate the impact of changes on the production system. (e.g. CMES, CORRS, PAS, EPES, TMC, Velocity, Webart)Conduct assessments of processes and practices, analyzes and interprets data for improvement opportunities.Provide feedback on assessment results and find opportunities for improvement and potential areas of riskAnalyze processes and supports Boeing Production System problem solving, develop and document innovative solutions in support of area Q.C.D.S.M. goalsAssist M&Q managers & team leads with Structured on the Job Training (SOJT) planSupport training and coaching solutions to improve employee performance.Provide Subject Matter Experts for specific M&Q Skills/DisciplinesProvide instruction, positive modeling, and opportunities for observation in order to help team members, employees. Encourage questions to ensure understanding. When coaching gives timely, appropriate feedback on performance. Reinforces efforts and progressClarify expected behaviors, knowledge, and level of proficiency by seeking and giving information and checking for understandingEstablish good interpersonal relationships by helping team members, and internal employees feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussionsWork at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plansWork under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to work on 2nd shift5+ years of experience with Structures Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Electrical Assembly, and/or Final Assembly5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience10+ years’ experience with aircraft assembly processes, performing hands-on installation and/or assembly is desired. (or an equivalent combination of education and experience as outlined above)5+ years’ experience in Functional Testing, Flight Line operations, Avionics, and troubleshootingDemonstrated knowledge and expertise in aircraft assembly and inspection processes is criticalExperience and proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specifications and templatesProficiency with MS Office applicationsExcellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsPossess Manufacturing experience in one or more of these areas:MechanicalFluids/Pneumatic'sElectrical IntegrationQuality InspectionFunction TestFlight line Exprerience
