Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our S&S Extrusion Post Mill Team in Puyallup, Washington. Position is for 3rd Shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.  Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience);
3+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Compliance and Manufacturing data
3+ years of experience using Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
3+ years of experience in reviewing engineering drawings and manufacturing plans
