Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the S&S Aub Extrusion & Finish team in Auburn or Puyallup, Washington. This position is for 3rd Shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.  Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience reporting status to senior and executive leadership
5+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
5+ years of experience with lean processes (AIW, VSM, BPSM, etc)
5+ years of experience directing and mentoring teams to deliver on safety, quality, and cost goals
