Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to join the Emergent Operations leadership team in Auburn Washington.

A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and business unit goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors

Leads, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives

Acquires resources for department activities and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Auburn.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing

3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment

Willing to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in leading and developing teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost

3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams

3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

Shift:

This is a 2nd shift role, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary pay range: $152,100 - $185,900
