Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 737-P-8 Manufacturing Team in Renton, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplinesDevelops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategiesAcquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment.1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience within the Boeing Production System (BPS)1+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniquesExperience utilizing performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing
Shift:
Candidates may be selected for 1st, or 2nd shift. Shift will be determined at the time of offer. There may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
