Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support the 737-P8 assembly team in Renton, Washington.

Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate our values-based culture, optimize tools and key performance indicators. Manufacturing Operations embraces a safety and first pass quality culture requiring leaders at every level to be committed to our team members’ success. FOD-free product and clean as you go is vital to maintaining compliance, this also requires a steadfast commitment to our standards, our people and our customer. This position is about helping our teammates and peers elevate and accelerate our business while holding steadfast to our values.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplinesDevelops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategiesAcquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniquesProficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Shift:

Candidate may be selected for 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift. Shift will be determined at the time of offer. There may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary pay range: $115,900 – 134,200
