Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for a Flight Operations Performance Engineering Senior Manager to join the Boeing Global Services Engineering team.
This role will lead the organization responsible for the engineering design, development, deployment and support of our flight operations digital solutions portfolio including Onboard Performance Tool (OPT), RouteSync, Tail Specific Performance/Flight Deck Advisor, and EFB solutions and application integration.

Position Responsibilities include:
Serve as Chief Engineer for the flight operations digital solutions portfolio and lead integrated product teamsProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesProvide insight, innovation andPartner with business/programs to establish and deliver on commitments and provide insight and innovation to inform product roadmapsPartner with Software Engineering to ensure a consistent and efficient approach in developing world-class software applications and servicesCollaborate with BCA Flight Sciences and Flight Operations Engineering on required enabling airplane performance software, databases and operational materialsMaintain engineering resource baseline and coordinate with other functions to ensure staffing to planContinuously enhance product quality and safety and drive operational excellenceInvest in and develop the team (first line leaders, Technical Fellows, individual contributors)Focus on robust talent pipeline – creating and guiding challenging and exciting development plans across all skills – and full utilization of network across the EnterpriseProvide technical customer support and support customer and industry engagements and sales supportSupport BGS Engineering Initiatives – including Design Practices, Technical Design Reviews, Quality Improvement Plans
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of experience leading technical or engineering teamsAble to travel both domestically and internationally10+ years of engineering or related experience5+ years of experience building relationships, communicating and partnering with customers and all levels of employees, including executives.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2+ years of experience in Flight Sciences, Airplane Performance and/or Flight OperationsExperience with Design Practices and Technical Design ReviewsExperience with software application development and deploymentStrong written and verbal communications skills at multiple levels
