Boeing Global Services(BGS) is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager (Level M) to join our Supplier Management Critical Support team in Seattle, WA. Candidate team is located in multiple locations in the United States and expected to travel. The Procurement Manager will lead an agile team driving deliveries to support emergent internal and external commercial customer requirements for in-production and out-of-production airplane models, as well as commercial and government development.

This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise. This position will implement new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies to effectively support business priorities.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location: Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages AOG, Customer Escalations, Customer Solutions and AvionX supplier management groups

Responsible for finding the safest, most expedient, compliant path to accelerate supplier parts to support customer needs

Responsible for resolving complex critical supply base risks

Accountable to customer facing teams and commercial spares program leadership

Manages employees and mid level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.

Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.

Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors

5+ years of experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track performance to plan for business/organization

5+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

A strong natural leadership style that moves people to act, motivates and inspires excellence and innovation

Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

5+ years of experience reporting status to senior and executive leadership

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 164,050 - 221,950
