Find your future with us.Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) is seeking a Lead Technical Architect to join the Lean IT Innovation team within the Enterprise AI & Data organization in Seattle, WA; North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; Chicago, IL; or Berkeley, MO.
The Lead IT4IT Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing IT4IT frameworks and best practices across a Lean Transformation Portfolio for the entire IDT&S organization. This role requires a deep understanding of IT service management, enterprise architecture, and the ability to align IT strategies with business goals intended to drive efficiency and increase clock speed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the enterprise architecture domain, IT4IT, ITIL, and related frameworks, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of IT4IT frameworks to optimize IT processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT strategies with business objectives
Develop and maintain architectural deliverables including system of systems diagrams, business process flows, integration, data architectures, roadmaps and documentation for IT4IT initiatives
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and IT staff on IT4IT best practices
Conduct assessments of current IT processes and identify areas for improvement
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural deliverables
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to IT4IT and IT service management
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote IT4IT principles and practices within the organization
Partner with program and project managers to report on the progress of IT4IT initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
Partner with automation and artificial intelligence practitioners to define how emerging technologies support process improvement and optimization
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
10+ years of experience with IT systems architecture and the IT4IT framework
5+ years of experience leading successful Lean and process improvement initiatives across an IT organization
5+ years of experience in IT architecture with a focus on IT4IT, IT service management, and/or enterprise architecture
5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, and/or Gitlab
5+ years of experience with IT4IT, ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and/or other relevant frameworks
5+ years of experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects
5+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Relevant certifications (e.g., IT4IT, TOGAF, ITIL)
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, and Value Stream Mapping
Experience with applying automation technologies (BluePrism, PowerAutomate) and AI to process optimization
Experience leading large-scale business transformations from concept through implementation
