Find your future with us.The Global Aerospace Safety Initiative is looking for a Lead Project Management Specialist, based out of Renton, WA to manage project planning and execution in cooperation with the BCA Sales Global Strategic Initiatives organization. The statement of work will focus on safety and regulatory affairs in the China, Southeast Asia, South Asia (India) and Africa regions. This position reports within the Chief Aerospace Safety Office (CASO) and Global Aerospace Safety Initiative organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Works across multiple business units to understand project requirements, gain commitments, leadership approvals, sponsorships and optimizes contributions to achieve business objectives; the project portfolio and associated statement of work is directed by the BCA Global Strategic Initiatives organization.Develops detailed project proposals, plans and identifies necessary resources to meet objectives.Manages resources, plans, tasks and daily operations utilizing project management best practices.Oversees and monitors progress from initiation through completion to ensure project scope, schedule, budget, quality and business objectives are met.Leads and oversees multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal guidance.Identifies project risks and opportunities; establishes effective mitigation plans.Identifies and resolves any issues to ensure the successful completion of projects.Develops and manages communication tools, metrics, and reports, including executive presentations, to support enhanced visibility and stakeholder awareness of project health and issues with direction from the BCA Global Strategic Initiatives team.Directs, delegates and ensures performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks.Creates, maintains, and advances stakeholder relationships to build trust and strong partnerships.Drives collaboration, integration and alignment, working across multiple business units, with direction from the BCA Global Strategic Initiatives team.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher5+ years of experience in project managementExperience working with virtual or hybrid project teamsAbility and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time internationallyWillingness to work variable hours as needed to interact with customers and colleagues in other regions and time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) or Project management professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management InstituteExperience working in aerospace industry experience with civil aviation safety, regulatory and government projectsExperience working collaboratively across different disciplines and organizationsExperience working in a global organization across geographic locations
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).
