Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Everett, Washington.

This position is for a BDS contracting lead to support reach back to Training and Compliance as far as reviewing over TINA RFQs and draft Purchase Orders. This role will be responsible for owning a complex work package with high program visibility. The existing team is early career procurement agents that need coaching/mentoring support from a procurement agent lead, to include both pre- and post-award contracts. This role will also support ad hoc and regularly scheduled training sessions with KC-46 procurement agents and addressing training gaps as they are identified.

This lead role will also support and perform the below SOW:

Recovery on Top Contracting Activity for current/future Lots and upcoming Program Extension effortsAccelerate recovery on supplier and program shortages and proactive mitigationIPT Focal for Internal Customer SupportEnsuring timely PR placements and driving those ongoing metricsBurning down of delinquent NCR backlog and maintaining within established turnaround timesCompliance, Mentoring & Training junior PAs and Analysts Experienced use of BDS procurement system and tools required

Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4:

Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceLeads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreementsInterprets and enforces contract terms and conditionsConsults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issuesLeads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commoditiesParticipates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Position Responsibilities – Lead Level 5:

Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirementsDevelops and executes company strategic business goals and objectivesConsults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategiesFormalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation processPrepares and executes negotiated documentsEnsures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirementsManages contract terminationsDevelops organization and company improvement plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and servicesMore than 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or BuyerMore than 5 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherSenior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceLead Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Senior Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Lead Level 5: Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Senior Level 4: $118,150 - $145,950

Summary pay range for Lead Level 5: $147,900 - $182,700
