Find your future with us.The Boeing Human Resources organization is currently seeking a Lead Implementation & Delivery Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ, Chicago, IL, or Seattle, WA.
This position will manage the U.S. benefits eligibility and enrollment administrator relationship and performance, as well as lead a team of experienced project and process managers focused on implementation and delivery of benefit programs and system updates. Provides subject matter expertise (SME) to coworkers regarding benefit issues and concerns and will respond to many complex questions. A successful candidate will be curious, confident, have strong communication and organization skills, and maintain a flexible, resourceful mindset.
Position Responsibilities:
Partners with benefits administrator to ensure service level agreements and quality assurance targets are achieved; addresses and resolves production errors through root cause corrective action processContinuously assesses and rebalances project schedules and team resource allocation to ensure priority work is accomplished on-time and with excellenceActs as internal consultant to colleagues regarding benefit program or process implementationEstablishes an implementation schedule and coordinates with internal organizations (i.e., strategy, communications, compliance, etc.) to implement changes for U.S. benefit programsRecommends and provides rationale for changes to benefit policies and proceduresReviews and analyzes benefit plan provisions; recommends potential solutions for the restructuring to meet company objectivesReviews and analyzes benefit data; responds to general inquiries, audits, document requests; prepares draft response for approval by management and submission to requesting agencyRecommends and provides rationale for benefit plan design changes and/or changes to benefit policies and proceduresDrafts plan documentation (e.g. summary plan description, plan amendments, summaries of material modifications, etc.) in accordance with legal requirements for review, approval and appropriate distributionMonitors and analyzes legislative and regulatory actions that may impact benefit plans to develop recommendations as appropriateDevelops solutions to complex and unique internal administrative procedures and process or system requirements (e.g. international inpatriates, long term disability divestitures, etc.)Reviews and monitors data information feed files to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepanciesContributes to the definition of systems requirements for use by IT developersResearches and prepare ad hoc reports, as requiredReviews and analyzes all relevant information pertaining to a benefit appeal (e.g. plan documents, past precedents prior appeals, etc.), and prepares draft response and present to managementReviews and analyzes benefit surveys results to identify changes in the market; formulate recommendations for benefits changesParticipates in union negotiations regarding benefits; presents proposed benefit package to union; analyzes benefit questions that arise during negotiations and responds to benefits related questions; compares proposal to other contracts (internal and external) to effect a solution
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in employee benefits administration/operations5+ years of experience successfully managing large, complex projects to completion3+ years of experience leading or supervising the work of a team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience administering benefits in a bargained environmentVendor management of third-party benefits administrator
