Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a broad range of experience levels to include Mid-Level, Senior and Lead KC-46 Program Integration Engineers within the KC-46 Airplane Integration Office covering CPE/Engineering leadership directed projects.
This position is located in Everett, WA.
This is a high visibility role with technical assignments that directly support the KC-46 program’s top level goals, initiatives, and challenges. This position offers the potential to broaden skills and experience across multiple engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be willing to stretch beyond their experience base and lead where process definition may not exist or is unclear. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work under consultative direction, has excellent people skills, and has the ability to negotiate, build consensus, and deliver results. A quick learner that possesses the ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts across multiple disciplines
The selected candidate will provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the KC-46 Program on technical issues requiring cross-functional and cross-organization leadership.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop integrated plans, establish and lead teams, monitor and respond to technical developments, risk management, and manage all aspects of projects to closureSolid technical background in at least one of the following disciplines: Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or Systems, and an understanding of certification processesDemonstrate record of successful management of complex airplane level integration projects from concept to in-service implementation, technical accomplishment, leadership, and good oral and written communication skills
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3+ years of experience with Program, Project and Product Management Best PracticesExperience working across multiple engineering disciplines3+ years of experience providing technical leadership for an engineering teamExperience as a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceActive security clearanceExperience with Military or Commercial aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or SystemsExperience with delivery and certification processes, working with FAA regulations, and Regulatory AdministrationExperience working across multiple business units and/or complex organizationsExperience with leading major design changes through multiple phases of product lifecycleExperience communicating with senior leadership and program customersAbility to work out of comfort zone, where process definition does not exist or is unclearAbility to take ownership / initiative, pull teams together, establish battle rhythm, remove roadblocks

Summary Pay Range:
Mid-Level: $104,550 - 141,450
Senior: $128,350 – 173,650
Lead: $157,250 – 212,750
