The Boeing Company is currently seeking a broad range of experience levels to include Experienced and Senior Interiors Engineers to join the team.

This position is 100% onsite in Tukwila or Everett WA.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system designDevelop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecyclePerform, integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specificationsManage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goalsDevelop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effortInvestigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements• Work under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry3+ years of experience with structures, payloads or systems engineeringExperience working with airplane interiors and/or systemsExperience working on waste water system componentsExperience working on oxygen system components

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceActive U.S. Secret Clearance or higherExperience acting as a technical interface with suppliers2+ years of experience testing and qualifying components on a Boeing platform, including DO-160 complianceExperience project managing and maintaining several components through a qualification programExperience leading qualification programs

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. The selected candidate will need to be located in the surrounding area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary Pay Range:

Experienced (Level 3) $96,050 - 129,950

Senior (Level 4) $ 120 ,700 - 163,300
