The Digital and Systems Engineering Function at Boeing bring people and data together to create the best total solution for aerospace products and services that change the world. To support this mission, we are hiring an Integration Digital Capability Senior Leader to focus on leading the development and deployment of digital thread solutions as a part of the Enterprise Digital and Systems Engineering Functional Chief Engineer Office. This leader will focus on developing an integrated strategy, project plan, and communication products. The leader will collaborate and integrate with our functional engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other partners, across business units, and with information technology partners to ensure our integrated digital capabilities deployed to business unit programs.

This position will be located in one of the following sites and will require approximately 25% travel:

Position Responsibilities:

Partner with the IT&DA partner for Digital Thread to establish and execute strategies

Partner with the Digital Transformation leaders across Global Commercial and Defense to establish priorities and business capabilities

Partner with the Cross-Functional Integration Working Group for defining digital thread requirements, architecture, and ontologies

Develop capability roadmap with priority based digital thread solutions with the business unit leaders of Digital Transformation

Develop staffing and budget for yearly LRBP requests

Develop communication packages for executive meetings with clear demonstration on business value

Lead as the product owner of the Integrated Digital Capabilities for Digital Thread Solutions within Agile approach

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering

Experience managing or leading diverse and geographically dispersed teams

10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience or working knowledge of BCA, BDS, or BGS products, processes, technology, design practices, and training

Experience developing digital thread solutions and deployment to programs

Ability to navigate through ambiguity and convert thoughts into strategic plans and tactical actions for enterprise solution

Strong communication across a broad set of stakeholders

Experience or working knowledge of operating in an Agile environment

Demonstrated experience taking initiative, leading cross functional teams, working across organizational boundaries, and ensuring an inclusive environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $178,500 – $258,750
