The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Business Partner to join the team in Miami, FL or Seattle, WA.

The Information Technology (IT) Business Partner for the Training Services Network (TSN) is the primary technical and strategic liaison between IT, Boeing Global Services (BGS), Commercial Training Solutions and its stakeholders for the TSN systems.

The individual will own the technical direction, architecture, security, compliance and audit posture of the TSN across all global campuses. This role ensures that the TSN meets business needs for availability, performance, security and regulatory compliance while aligning with enterprise IT standards and roadmaps.

Position Responsibilities:

Act as the single point of contact and trusted advisor to business leaders, campus operations, and training delivery teams for all TSN matters (network components, architecture, services, and security)

Define and maintain the TSN architecture and roadmap; ensure the translation of business requirements into network designs, capacity plans, and technology investments

Own TSN security posture: lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, configuration hardening, network segmentation, secure access, and identity integration

Ensure global compliance with internal policies, industry regulations and contractual obligations related to network security, privacy and data protection across all campuses

Coordinate and assist in audits (internal, external, and regulatory) related to the TSN to produce evidence, remediate findings, and track closure

Partner with enterprise security, compliance, legal and IT teams to align TSN controls with corporate frameworks

Drive and assist in incident response for TSN-related security incidents; coordinate containment, eradication, root cause analysis, lessons learned and reporting

Ensure IT meets Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for TSN availability, performance, security event metrics, and change success rates

Manage IT relationships relevant to TSN (network hardware, managed services, security tools) procurements, contract reviews and performance management

Oversee campus onboarding/offboarding for network services, ensuring consistent secure configurations and documented baselines

Monitor and coordinate patching, firmware updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning for TSN assets

Ensure local IT staff at global campuses operate in compliance with and under consistent operations and security practices

Ensure change management for TSN-wide network modifications; ensure risk assessments, backouts, communication plans and testing are in place

Ensure processes are in place for up-to-date asset inventories, network diagrams, configuration standards and runbooks for TSN

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, performance and security across the TSN

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management

Experience with Incident Response

Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership

Experience in creating and managing technical Risk and Opportunity (RIO) evaluations of cost and schedule impacts

Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

10+ years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, and network security in a distributed/multi-site environment

Experience acting as an IT/business liaison or IT Business Partner supporting multiple stakeholder groups

Experience with enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), wireless (Wi‑Fi), network virtualization, load balancing and network monitoring

Experience with security technologies and practices: firewalls, Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), segmentation, Network Access Control (NAC), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) concepts, and secure remote access

Experience with compliance frameworks and audit processes (National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ISO 27001, SOC 2, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or regional equivalents)

Experience managing incidents and leading cross-functional incident response activities

Experience producing and maintaining architecture artifacts, network diagrams, and operational runbooks

Experience with managed service models for campus networks and vendor governance

Experience in training, simulation, or aviation-related network environments

Summary pay range: $115,600 – $167,900
