As an Information Systems Security Officer - Mid Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to:
Serve as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for secure networking, computing, and enclave environmentsVerify the security posture of assigned systems to ensure compliance with STE/STN requirementsMaintain Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching for assigned systemsEnsure compliance with System Security Plans (SSPs) and support ongoing system accreditation requirementsContribute to the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration of Information Assurance (IA) architectures, systems, and componentsSupport the Government in enforcing secure design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architecturesApply IA policies, procedures, and workforce structures to design, develop, and implement secure environmentsPerform security planning, assessments, risk analysis, and risk management activitiesIdentify and document overall security requirements for proper handling of Government dataCollaborate and interact effectively with customers and project team members

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
At least seven (7) years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university; DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP+) is requiredFour (4) years ISSO experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degreeRequired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with PolygraphActive DoD 8570-compliant certification at IAT II/III level (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP+)Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and implementing mitigation strategies to reduce security risksHands-on experience with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ICD 503, DoD 8500/8510, NIST RMF) and supporting ATO (Authority to Operate) activitiesProficiency in developing, implementing, and enforcing IA/security policies, standards, and procedures across systems and networksDesired Qualifications:
Experience supporting the integration of Information Assurance (IA) into system design, development, testing, and operations environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with government stakeholders, customers, and project team membersTelework/Remote Availability: No telework approved at this time.

Summary Pay Range:
