The Boeing Company is looking for a Industrial Security Specialist (Senior or Lead) to join our team in Tukwila, WA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring and protecting people, property, and information. Incumbents within this group perform such tasks as developing and implementing organizational programs and processes that assess security risks, protecting company assets and employees, and ensuring compliance with applicable government and company regulations.

Position Responsibilities:

Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements

Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action

Communicates results to security management and customers

Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements

Communicates results to security management and customers

Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance with government regulations/requirements

Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures

Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs

Leads and performs Personnel Security team and/or processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements

Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information

Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements

Performs Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements

Communicates results to security management and customers

Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

5+ years of experience in Industrial Security

5+ years of experience with government security regulations such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

Experience leading teams and team development

Experience working with multiple functional organizations from multiple sites

Experience developing and delivering presentations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)

Experience working with National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations manual (NISPOM) and in National Industrial Security Program (NISP) related security programs

Experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field

Summary pay range: for Senior (Level 4) - $103,700 – $140,300

Summary pay range: for Lead (Level 5) - $131,750 – $178,250
