Find your future with us.The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) Operations organization is seeking a Health and Insurance OperationsSenior Manager to oversee day-to-day administration and execution of Boeing’s domestic Health and Insurance offerings in Seattle, WA, Mesa, AZ or Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of both traditional and specialized healthcare programs, including medical benefits, vision, dental, life insurance, eligibility, and specialty program administration.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a geographically dispersed team of exempt employees while collaborating with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders to define, implement, and administer health, insurance, and specialty programs, processes, and tools
Maintain comprehensive documentation related to plan operations and supplier requirements, including business rules, plan provisions, production and defect logs, process maps, and control plans
Supervise the operations of multiple suppliers that provide health, insurance, administration, and specialty benefit programs
Identify industry best practices and performance standards, monitor supplier performance against these standards, and develop and implement improvement action plans as necessary
Collaborate with the Benefits portfolio and project management teams to oversee change and issue management practices, ensuring efficient resource utilization and appropriate prioritization
Integrate services from multiple suppliers to provide employees with seamless services tailored to their needs
Maintain the integrity of employee demographic data with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate daily interface feeds and proper resolution of exceptions
Utilize resources efficiently to reduce expenses and maximize productivity; implement process improvements to enhance operations; identify risk areas and develop process control plans to mitigate them; and employ root cause corrective action plans for continuous improvement
Ensure employees have challenging, measurable business goals and objectives, along with meaningful leadership development plans
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in health and insurance delivery/operations
5+ years of experience leading direct reports
5+ years of experience working for a large employer with both union and non-union populations
5+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience and knowledge of Health & Insurance benefits administration, regulations, processes, and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management
Experience in leading change management and process improvement activities at a business unit or enterprise level

Summary pay range: $163,200 - $235,750
