Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for 737 Fulfillment Weekend Manager (Level K) (2nd Shift) to join our 737 Field Fulfillment Seattle Delivery Center/Renton Preflight team in Seattle, Washington or Renton, Washington.

This position will be a 4-day workweek, with 10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday with a typical start time of 12pm.

The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can leverage their knowledge of the company and multiple functional disciplines to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team. This position will include leading our Expedite, Tools and Tool Room teams in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with other Preflight Fulfillment leaders will also involve process improvement and leading of projects.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Leads, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams3+ years of experience working with Supply Chain and Manufacturing3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal skills and communication skillsMust be able to work a 4/10 schedule from Friday through Monday

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing and the Production System3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills3+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management3+ years of experience with business knowledge, leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment (not in question bank)
