Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager(Level K) to support the Composite Manufacturing Center (CMC) Team, based out of Puyallup, WA.

As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate the BPS (Boeing Production System) culture, tools and key performance indicators. Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Puyallup, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment

3+ years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous process improvement initiatives

1+ years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position

1+ years of experience communicating with employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership

1+ years of experience advising and influencing cross functional-teams to recover factory performance and solve operational quality problems

Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

Project Management Experience

Summary Pay Range: $103,700 – $140,300
