Find your future with us.Boeing is seeking dynamic and experienced Facilities Senior Managers to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization. In this critical role, you will lead a dedicated Project and Construction Management Team overseeing a group of first-line leaders and project managers. This role is available at any of our major Boeing sites.
This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of Boeing’s GREF Leadership team, where you will play a vital role in the planning, initiation, and execution of facility construction projects that support Boeing Commercial Airplane Programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee activities within the facilities project management domain, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
Lead a high-performing team in the development and execution of project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, and establishing operational objectives
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and safety
Ensure the successful delivery of Facilities Projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, and closeout
Coach and mentor team members in Project Management Best Practices and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Collaborate with leadership during project reviews to facilitate learning and ensure adherence to governance and controls, including finance and scheduling
Acquire necessary resources for projects and processes, providing technical management of suppliers and spearheading process improvements
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with site leaders, business partners, peers, and employees to foster a collaborative work environment
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes; participate in source selection and offer technical guidance to suppliers
Lead, develop, coach, and motivate employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
Able to travel domestically up to 50%
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience leading projects
5+ years of experience with large construction projects, facilities management and/ or large project management
5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams
Experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with candidates and stakeholders
Able to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
5+ years of experience coaching, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities to enhance employee performance within their organization
Experience leading diverse teams
Experience utilizing critical thinking and reasoning skills in a role that requires strong strategic decisions while fostering continuous learning
