Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri, Everett, Washington, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and Mesa, Arizona.

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 4:

Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.Conducts and guides supplier assessments.Develops current and projected work statement.Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.Develops and executes work movement plans.

Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 5:

Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.Manages work movement plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier managementMore than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacityMore than 3 years of experience working in a multi-functional team environmentExperience in Program DevelopmentExperienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Senior Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 90% of the time.

Candidate will be required to be on site Monday-Friday for initial 6-12 months of role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Domestic Travel Assignment (DTA) will be offered if candidate elects to move to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the duration of the assignment, in lieu of traveling there weekly.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level 4: $110,500 - $145,950

Summary pay range for Senior Level 5: $128,350 - $158,550
