Find your future with us.The Boeing Commercial Airplanes team is looking for a highly motivated Estimating Analyst (Associate or Experienced) to join our Cost Recovery Team located in Everett, WA, Renton, WA, Mesa, AZ or North Charleston, SC. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 2 and Level 3 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.
The Supply Chain Estimating Organization is looking for an experienced analyst who excels at collaboration and critical thinking. In this role, you will leverage large production system datasets and direct interface with the production system stakeholders to develop estimates, prepare fully substantiated claims, and summarize all costs associated with disruption resulting from supplier non-performance (i.e., late parts, non-conforming parts, manufacturing disruption and engineering support). The selected candidate will work with program operations, (IE) Industrial Engineering, Finance functions, Supplier Contracts, and Legal teams to understand culpability, including supporting documentation to support damages claims used with the supplier. This position will also develop estimating and pricing methods for emerging production disruption situations – evolving existing processes or helping determine systematic approaches to undefined claim processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Integrates with airplane programs, supply chain, engineering, finance, and legal to develop comprehensive claims for all costs incurred resulting from supplier-caused disruption
Prepares detailed and accurate Cost Recovery claims and ensures those estimates are handed off to our Supply Chain counterparts in a timely manner
Independently conducts and collaborates on ad-hoc analysis and peer reviews
Defines the scope and aligns functions to the claim approach and timing
Coordinates with Program and Supply Chain Leaders to prioritize recovery projects
Advises Leadership on the technical, qualitative, quantitative, and legal aspects of in-work recoveries and scoping assessments when necessary
Develops, implements, and continuously improves standard technical approaches, products and processes for the team
Presents updates to executive leadership in multiple forums (SAM) Special attention meetings, (LOS) Line of Sight and (BPRs) Business Program Reviews
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of working with large data sets
1+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules or solutions
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with data validation and auditing
Experience with process mapping
Strong presentation and communication skills at peer and multiple leadership levels
Experience in production systems, large-scale manufacturing, and/or Supply Chain
Experience or interest in teaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of learning

Summary Pay Range (Associate, Level 2): $79,050 - $106,950
Summary Pay Range (Experienced, Level 3): $100,300 - $135,700
