Boeing Commercial Airplanes is currently looking for an Environmental Control Technician B- to join our team in Everett, Washington!

As an Environmental Control Technician B, you will receive, inspect, kit, dispense, deliver and maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies. Serve as an information resource on hazardous materials through maintaining a working knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations. Provide proper waste disposal and processing of hazardous waste materials. Respond to environmental hazard spills, working closely with Boeing and outside agencies emergency response units.

Position Responsibilities:

Serve as an information resource on hazardous materials through maintaining a working knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations.

Provide proper waste disposal and processing of hazardous waste materials.

Order, receive and log hazardous materials (e.g., solvents, paints, chemicals) using forms or on-line computer systems.

Issue or deliver chemicals and supplies to control points/points of use.

Manage inventory and reduce hazardous waste by tracking usage and adjusting requirements.

Respond to environmental hazard spills, working closely with Boeing and outside agencies emergency response units.

Operate material handling equipment (e.g., electric stackers, fork lifts, overhead cranes) to move material and supplies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials.

Currently possess a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience executing data entry, retrieval and inventory management.

Typical Education & Experience

High school graduate or GED preferred.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position can support various shifts.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Summary Pay Range: $20.00 - $43.74 an hour
