Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain Propulsion team is seeking a Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4) to join the Engine Management Operations team in Everett, Washington.
We are looking for qualified candidates with a supply chain background who are ready to dive in and collaborate with our engine partner, General Electric (GE). As an Operations Procurement Agent, you will build relations with GE, while managing a complex work package in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class products in support of our airline customers and the flying public.
This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution with a focus on quality and delivery, partner to build relations with the engine supplier, enabling the organization to improve quality, systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to support our Propulsion Engine Build and Program Manufacturing teams. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This position requires travel up to 25% of the time.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.
Consults with internal and external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
7+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
5+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW) and/or Program Management
5+ years managing supplier performance and/or supplier relationships
Must be willing and able to travel domestically (up to 25% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work/ military experience
5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Access and Project
5+ years of experience applying critical thinking to understand inter-relationships of business decisions
Typical Education/ Experience:
Typically, 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
