Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist – Content Delivery, Development and Management to join the Factory Program & Leadership Development (F&PLD) team in Auburn, WA, Renton, WA, Seattle, WA, or Everett, WA.
The selected candidate will play a vital role in the design, development, and delivery of shop floor leadership training, with a particular emphasis on modernizing the existing Team Lead training to reflect business priorities and Boeing values. Key focus areas for this position include cross-functional collaboration with the Factory & Program Leadership Development (FP&LD) team, Human Resources, Operations, and Learning & Development’s (L&D) Learning Support Coordination to identify and prioritize content and delivery. Additionally, this role will involve supporting the evaluation of the training program(s), concentrating on both the quality of the training and attendance metrics. The ideal candidate will possess strong presentation and project management skills, along with the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced yet collaborative environment.
This role is influential, empowering Learning and Development, along with Boeing’s BPS to support the vital skill development necessary for our team members to become global industrial leaders.
Position Responsibilities:
Support performance analysis and develop program improvement recommendations aligning to business objectives and Boeing culture and valuesApply critical and strategic thinking to enhance program effectiveness in consideration of organizational goals, providing consultation to organizational stakeholdersThrough cross-functional collaboration, identify business specific learning objectives and priorities across all Business Units (BCA, BDS, and BGS)Apply project management principles to define project scope and support implementation plan, budget, and resourcesSupport curriculum design and development, review of course content and instructional materials—applying adult-learning theory while aligning to Boeing Production System (BPS) and L&D’s leadership frameworkDemonstrate credibility and accountability by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Boeing's culture and values, using real-life examples to reinforce trainingPerform as an instructor utilizing strong presentation skills to effectively communicate training content and engage participantsFacilitate change management initiatives to help learners adapt to new processes and organizational changesCollaborate on training delivery sites and support faculty based on forecasting and hiring dataMonitor implementation, identifying potential issues that impact performance providing continual improvement recommendationsBe curious, demonstrate a commitment to continuous development of skillsExhibit Boeing Values in a meaningful, observable, and measurable wayTravel as needed within and outside of the Puget Sound
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in adult learning, design and development5+ years in employee learning and development or leadership development roles5+ years in production or a production learning environment5+ years of experience with projects using critical thinking, problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement methodologies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExtensive knowledge of the Boeing Production SystemExperience developing learning strategies to meet organization business requirementsExperience in strategic integration roles in aerospace or training industryUnderstanding of hiring forecasting activities

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $108,800 - $147,200
Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 5): $134,300 - $181,700
