Boeing Communications is looking for a creative, digitally savvy Employee Communications Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) with honed video and writing skills based out of Everett, WA to help create compelling content for its employees.

This position will be responsible for developing and producing content that engages our employees and shares the stories of Boeing Commercial Airplanes to deepen understanding of the business and its priorities. This role has a strong focus on video and visual storytelling and requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, along with strategic thinking and collaboration.

As a member of the broader Commercial Airplanes’ Communications team, this role also supports other business needs such as executive communications as well as employee-focused communications and events.

Position Responsibilities:

Engages and interacts confidently with all levels of employees from the production floor to the C-suite

Tells an engaging story through all channels (including video, photo, email messages, social media as well as non-digital and in-person tactics, etc.)

Translates complex information into common language broad audiences will understand

Partners transparently and effectively with other members of the Communications organization as well as other functions across the business

Thinks critically and independently solve problems

Works comfortably in a fast-paced, high-output environment

Explores new technology and communication tools, and continuously improve processes

Adapts to evolving situations and prioritizes complex and competing statements of work

This role is based in Puget Sound and will work onsite the majority of the time in Everett, WA. The selected candidate must live in or relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience with video story telling (shooting, narrating and editing)

Experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Experience distilling complex, technical and abstract concepts into concise messaging and stories

Experience working with customers C-suite or VP level

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 4: 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Level 3: 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in corporate communications, public relations agency or news media

Experience producing, writing, and editing communications plans, strategies and deliverables

Photography skills are also desired

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Level 3: $86,700 – $117,300

Summary pay range for Level 4: $108,800 - $147,200
