Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for and entry level Equipment Engineer to join our Production Engineering organization in Auburn, WA. This Electrical Engineering focused position will support exciting new endeavors in the Fabrication Division.
A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out on the production floor, interacting with mechanics, safety, and equipment services, and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
Primary Responsibilities:
This is an equipment development, implementation, and improvement role. This role involves reviewing electrical schematics, control panel designs, and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, the role requires project management, testing, and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects:
Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.Develop and implement work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET is a preferred, although not required, accreditation standard)

Summary pay range for Entry Level (Level 1): $66,300 - $89,700
