Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced and Senior LevelElectrical/Electronic Installation Design Engineers who will provide engineering support across the Boeing portfolio of products, to include – but not limited to - Boeing Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others).
The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Associate (Level 2)
Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.Supports analysis and design reviews.Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.Supports the development of statements of work.Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.Works under general supervision.
Experienced (Level 3)
Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.Analyzes results and performs design reviews.Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.Develops basic statements of work.Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design.Works under general direction.
Senior (Level 4)
Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.Analyzes results and performs design reviews.Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews.Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets.Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.Works under minimal direction.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science2 or more years of experience in an engineering role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceEducation or experience in Electrical EngineeringExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointHave or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). Senior (Level 4)

Associate: $87,550 - 118,450
Mid-Level $104,550 - 141,450
Senior $ 128,350 - 173,650
