Find your future with us.We are seeking a highly adaptable and fast-learning Cybersecurity Specialist(Lead or Senior Level) to join the team in Kent, WA; Arlington, VA; Chicago, IL; El Segundo, CA; Hazelwood, MO; Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA.
The Cybersecurity Specialist will have a broad foundation in IT systems technology to fill a high-visibility role that is important to company success. This role requires the ability to quickly absorb and synthesize complex information then communicate it effectively to diverse audiences including our CIDO, technical and non-technical senior executives, legal professionals, and technical experts.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee technical architecture alignment and integration of solutions designed and deployed by a team of IDT&S technical leaders, each an expert in their own domain. Validate that the combined set of technical solutions meets the intent of data protection requirements.Prevent potential ITAR violations through direct technical analysis and advice to Boeing teams or by bringing in other experts in technology, architecture, and regulatory compliance if required.Analyze potential ITAR violations to determine urgency, stakeholders, and required action. Ensure actions, responsible parties, and timeline requirements are clear.Synthesize technical and regulatory information to produce clear, audience-appropriate outputs including presentations, reports, and technical documentation.Present complex technical concepts and governance guidance to senior leadership, including the CIDO and IT architects.Engage with legal teams (e.g., Global Trade Controls (GTC)), and with the U.S. Department of State to communicate technical and compliance information in a clear, non-technical manner.Develop and deliver technical writing tailored for various stakeholders such as Business Unit CIOs, GTC executives, and government agencies.Collaborate effectively with executives, architects, application leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and project progress.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years’ experience with broad array of IT systems and technologies5+ years’ experience with identifying stakeholders to understand the requirements to close an issue, and determining the urgency with which an issue must be addressed5+ years’ experience working with senior executives, legal teams, and technical architects5+ years’ experience in managing urgent situations and communicating effectively under pressure5+ years’ experience demonstrating exceptional ability to learn quickly, synthesize complex information, and communicate in both written and verbal form
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years’ of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceBackground in IT governance, architecture, or complianceAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience in technical writing and presentation developmentStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiencesStrong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive actions to completion

Lead Summary Pay Range: $130,900 - $189,750
Senior Summary Pay Range: $161,500 - $233,450
