The Boeing Company is looking for Experienced Contract Management Specialists based out of Tukwila, WA.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a commercial derivative aircraft program based on the 737, with potential engagement in programs such as E-7A Airborne Early Warning and Control, P-8 Poseidon or KC-46 Tanker. The dynamic nature of this role ensures that day-to-day responsibilities are diverse and ever-changing, making it ideal for individuals who excel in environments filled with innovative and unique challenges.

Position Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary liaison between program management and customers, ensuring contracts are executed in alignment with cost and schedule requirements

Collaborate with government partners and program managers to meet contract obligations, including:

Interpreting contracts and participating in program management meetings

Supporting various functional organizations such as integrated planning and scheduling, systems engineering, finance, and mission systems

Addressing team inquiries to clarify contract execution

Lead the proposal team in responding to government requests for proposals (RFPs) for new capabilities and aircraft, which involves:

Developing estimates, schedules, and proposal submissions

Navigating the approval chain for transaction reviews (e.g., securing agreement from PM, Management, and business unit leaders before submission)

Negotiating good business deals

Foster relationships with programs, functional organizations, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), collaborating with program managers, finance teams, and engineers throughout the process

Ensure all stakeholders comprehend the implications of risk and schedule on contract execution

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of contractor or related experience

Experience in government contracting

Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Certifications in Contract Management from organizations such as the National Contract Management Agency are desirable

Experience in aerospace or direct defense contracting experience (e.g., NASA)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $83,300 - $ 112,700
