Find your future with us.Insitu is looking for an experienced and versatile communication specialist who is passionate about supporting marketing campaigns and executive communications. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, supporting media relations and inquiries, and drafting speeches and talking points for leadership. They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as being able to think about long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs, and mentoring other marketing and communications team members.
Core Responsibilities:
Establish corporate communications strategy, objectives and communication channels.Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaborationConsults with organizational stakeholders and partners with key staff members to develop and refine marketing content and messagingDevelop and implement marketing plans with specific objectives across different markets and customer setsDevelop and maintain relationships with media, driving public narrative and placement strategyDrafts speeches and talking points for leadership team to support a variety of customer engagementsDevelop, review and edit a variety of communications content and proactively respond to media inquiriesWork with strategy team to conduct market analysis and build effective short and long-term campaign strategiesConceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channelsIdentify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordinglyMay serve as team lead and provide guidance to peers
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven experience developing marketing plans and campaignsStrong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skillsExperience writing speeches and preparing talking points for executives; ability to adapt to leadership preferred tone and provide guidance based on audienceAbility to develop communications and content under fluid and compressed timelinesDirect experience interfacing with the mediaKnowledge of public relations best practices; media inquiries and responseMetrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity; experience with marketing automation and CRM toolsAbility to communicate on technical topics; curiosity about Insitu’s productsAbility to mentor marketing and communication teammates
Desired Skills:
Prior military service, US Department of Defense experience, or government affairs experiences
Requirements:
